Dive into the magic of the white picnics at the Château de Chantilly
The white picnics at the Château de Chantilly are a summer tradition that goes back more than 30 years. Every year, thousands of people gather on the lawn in front of the castle to share an outdoor meal in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Participants are encouraged to wear white clothing, which creates a beautiful tableau vivant on the lawn. The tables, chairs, dishes and decorations are also all white, which gives an elegant and refined atmosphere.
A unique and memorable experience to live with family or friends, in an enchanting and historic setting.
The Grand Stables of Chantilly
The Grandes Écuries were designed to house the horses of the court of the Prince of Condé, who was a great lover of horses and riding. At over 200 meters long and 28 meters high, the stables are a true architectural masterpiece, with a stone façade adorned with sculptures and bas-reliefs depicting scenes from equestrian life.
Today, the Grandes Écuries de Chantilly are home to the Musée Vivant du Cheval, which offers equestrian shows as well as exhibitions and activities related to horse riding and breeding. The museum also allows you to discover the history of horseback riding in France, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
